Happy birthday to Rose! This morning I went to the Museum of Madrid History with Kayla. This is another one of those things I've been meaning to do forever; my Madrid: Culture and Society professor was always talking about it last semester. Here's the museum; it's in an old orphanage.

I was a little early and Kayla was a little late (culturally incompetent of me; she got it right), so I bought a bag of mini muffins from a grocery store on the same street and ate them while I was waiting outside the musuem before she got there. But eating in public is a faux paus, so I hid them in my tote bag and tried to eat them very subtly, on the down low. I felt insane doing it and took this picture because I thought it was funny.

Also while I was waiting I saw them putting up this Rosalía Coke ad.
Entrance to the museum.

I didn't know if you were allowed to take pictures in the museum, so I didn't risk it. Plus it was nice to just hang out with Kayla without also being a content creator. But afterwards I told my friend Jason from last semester I went, and he sent me this pic he took when he went. I asked if I could use it for the blog, he said yes, so Tess, this one is for you obviously, also thank you Jason.

The museum was super cool. I didn't have high expectations, but it was very interesting and had a lot of cool artifacts. I turned a corner and they just casually had Goya's Allegory of Madrid. Crazy.
After the museum Kayla and I got lunch at the same mercado Alana and I went to when we went to the Romanticism Museum because it was good and right nearby. Kayla got a crepe; I got an arepa :) Very yummy.

I stopped at the grocery store across the street from my apartment on my way home. I planned to get normal groceries, but I saw that they restocked the good pomegranates, freaked out, texted Rose, and bought us twelve. Each pomegranate is €1. I love it here. I left four for everyone else, which I thought was very kind of me. I'm so happy they're back. For the past few days (ever since I posted the last pomegranate ages ago) there's been no pommies at the grocery store, not these good ones or the mid ones.

Haul.

After I dropped off the pommies at home, I went back to the grocery store to get real groceries. I took a page out of Jisenia's book and stopped and got flowers for Rose for her birthday.

After I came back from getting real groceries Alana and I went and got our nails done :) I got french nails but with black tips. Everyone thinks it's very cool except for my mom.
Then I had a pomegranate. Are you guys seeing this. She's beautiful. Also I told Alana about the pommies when we got our nails done. Then we got home, I was sitting on the couch and I heard her walk in the kitchen and say, "Oh my god she really did get twelve pomegrantes." She didn't believe me smh my head. Real ones know.

We went out to dinner for Rose's birthday! On the way there we passed the Rosalía ad they were hanging up earlier.

Dinner was at 11PM because Rose had a meeting. Very European. We went to this very vibey Italian restaurant; I think my dad would love the vibes. I think Mermaid Princesses would also love it because there were mermaids everywhere.
They got me. (Translation: Sagittarius.)

Cannelloni and passion fruit spritz.

Here's a pic from intern Rose of Alana grating parmesan cheese on her pasta. Jisenia and Marleny were also in attendance.

Very fun dinner night.
